CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The City of Cedar Rapids says they’ve corrected maps showing the public right-of-way near the building used by the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Officials say they spotted an issue with the maps during the process of issuing a permit for the construction of a seven foot tall fence in front of the facility and found the public areas looked “unusually wide” when compared to nearby properties.
