ATKINS, Iowa — Hundreds of trees have been planted in the Atkins Roadhouse area after the park suffered significant damage from the 2020 derecho.
The Roadhouse reopened in August after being closed since January for construction, with some projects still underway.
Visitors are urged to use caution on the trails as construction continues through the fall…
