A December hearing has been scheduled in the case of the Iowa City man accused of beating a woman and leaving her for dead on the University of Iowa campus in 2022.
Ali Younes is charged with attempted murder, theft, and robbery. Prosecutors say he strangled a woman until she was unconscious near the Art Building West, then stole her earrings worth $20,000.
