DAVENPORT, Iowa — Dozens rallied in Davenport Monday afternoon to show support for an Iowa City man detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Jorge Gonzalez Ochoa was detained by ICE last month at his job in an Iowa City grocery store. Since then, he’s been held in the Muscatine County Jail on fraud charges. He went before a judge Monday to seek pretrial release, but he didn’t go alone.
