Man charged in quadruple murder files change of venue motion weeks before trial

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – The man accused of bludgeoning four people to death at a rural Linn County property is asking for his trial to be moved out of Cedar Rapids just weeks before jury selection is scheduled to start.

Luke Truesdell in charged with four counts of first degree murder in the June 2024 deaths of Romondus Cooper, Keonna Ryan, Amanda Parker, and Brent Brown. His trial is scheduled to begin November 4.
