Marion City Hall Closed to Walk-Ins Friday, October 24 Due to Internet Outage; Staff Available Remotely

On Friday, October 24, Marion City Hall at 1225 6th Avenue will be closed to walk-in visitors due to a planned internet outage for fiber network relocation. Employees will work remotely during this period.

Administrative staff from the City Manager’s Office and Community Development Department will work from the Marion Public Library’s Community Room from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other staff will work from home or other city facilities. City services will be available online, by phone, or by email. Internet service is expected to be restored later that day. Normal operations at City Hall will resume on Monday, October 27, at 8 a.m…
