An out-of-state man was arrested by the Grundy County Proactive Unit this week. Cornelius Chambers, 30, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was arrested after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Minooka on October 21st.
During the stop, police officials say a stolen firearm and fraudulent drivers licenses were recovered. The Sheriff’s Office said the firearm was reported stolen from Des Moines, Iowa.
Chambers was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, a class two felony and three counts of possessing fictitious/unlawfully altered driver`s license, all class four felonies…
