ROWLEY, Iowa – A man has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly hitting someone with his motor vehicle.
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says it received a 911 call around 12:05 pm Friday about an auto accident in the 500 block of Oak Street in Rowley. Deputies say Raymond Leroy Gienau, 70 of Rowley, drove his vehicle off the road and intentionally struck an individual before crashing into a garage.
