Linn County, Iowa, has launched an online food pantry map to help residents find food assistance. The map was developed with community partners and the HACAP Food Reservoir. It lists each food pantry’s services, hours, address, contact information, and directions for different types of transportation.
Linn County officials say the map aims to make it easier for residents to access food support. Local food pantries and partners update the map regularly to keep information accurate. County Supervisor Sami Scheetz said community collaboration is important in addressing hunger in the area.
