CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Hy-Vee is one of the many businesses helping out families while SNAP benefits are delayed by giving out free, hot meals.
Kids 12 and under can eat for free, and the same meal is available to everyone else for $3 from 4-7 p.m.
Here is the schedule:
- Wednesday, Nov. 5: Chicken and Noodles with Mashed Potatoes
- Thursday, Nov. 6: Chili and a Cinnamon Roll
- Friday, Nov. 7: Sesame or Orange Chicken Rice Bowl
