University of Iowa Student Arrested After Flipping TPUSA Table on Campus

IOWA CITY, Iowa — A University of Iowa student was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly flipping over a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) display table during a campus event, according to Johnson County Jail records.

Authorities identified the suspect as 19-year-old Justin Pham Calhoon, who was booked into the Johnson County Jail around 5:50 p.m. on November 5, 2025.

Calhoon faces multiple charges, including Disorderly Conduct – Disturbing a Lawful Assembly or Meeting, Criminal Mischief 5th Degree, and Harassment 3rd Degree.
