Testimony begins as prosecution starts presenting witnesses in Luke Truesdell murder trial

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The prosecution will present its first witnesses Thursday in the Luke Truesdell murder trial.

Truesdell is accused of beating Amanda Parker, 33, Romondus Cooper, 44, Keonna Ryan, 26, and Brent Brown, 34, to death with a metal pipe in June 2024 in rural Linn County. He pleaded not guilty in July.
