Andrew Shaw sentenced to 50 years for second-degree murder

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Andrew Shaw was sentenced to 50 years in prison for his part in Chris Bagley’s murder.

Shaw was sentenced for second-degree murder, a Class ‘B’ Felony, and he must serve at least 35 years in prison. He will not serve more than 50 years.

A jury found Andrew Shaw guilty of second-degree murder in August. Prosecutors argued Shaw hired two men, Drew Wagner and Johnny Church, formerly known as Drew Blahnik, to kill Bagley in December 2018…
