The City’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive began last week and will continue through November 21. Special donation events will take place at three local grocery stores on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The locations are Fareway at 2530 Westwinds Dr., HyVee at 1125 N. Dodge St., and HyVee at 812 S. 1st Ave. City staff will collect food and provide information about needed items, including canned fruit, peanut butter, and baby supplies.
All donations will go to CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank. Additional donation events are planned at local parks from 4 to 6 p.m…
