CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — An Iowa City man is facing charges after police say he threatened to set fire to a Cedar Rapids bus.
Todd Brodie is charged with threatening with an explosive of incendiary device and harassment.
A criminal complaint says Brodie got onto the bus at Edgewood Road and North River Blvd. NE and convinced a passenger to give him a free ride pass. As the bus drove on Edgewood, Brodie asked to get off, but the bus driver told police that he could not let him off there. That’s when, police say, Brodie got a bottle of charcoal fluid and squeezed it onto the floor, threatening to light it on fire…
