CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The last few days have had temperatures well above normal, but after a cold front moved through yesterday, we are looking at a week closer to normal.

Today, we will see plenty of sunshine with only a few passing clouds and highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Winds will also be calmer today at speeds of 5 to 15 miles per hour out of the northwest.

A few more clouds move in tonight as temperatures fall to the upper 20s and low 30s.

We start Monday dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs will reach the upper 40s and low 50s. As the day progresses, more clouds will roll in with shower chances starting in the evening.

They will begin scattered before becoming more widespread overnight.

Temperatures will only drop to the mid 30s across northern viewing areas, with upper 30s and low 40s further south. Because temperatures are colder across northern zones, it is possible that a few flakes of snow could mix in with the rain there. No accumulation is expected…
