PALO, Iowa — A Marion man was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals Saturday afternoon after a violent rollover crash in rural Linn County. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says the single-vehicle accident happened around 4:00 p.m. at Covington Rd. and Chain Bridge Rd. near Palo.
Deputies and responders from the Iowa State Patrol, Palo Fire Department, Hiawatha Ambulance, and Lifeguard Air Ambulance arrived to find a silver Kia Rio upside down in the east ditch with one person trapped inside.
