Marion City Hall and other city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, for Thanksgiving. Police and fire services will continue to operate. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection for Thursday and Friday routes will be delayed by one day. The Yard Waste Facility at 195 35th Street will also be closed on these days. It will reopen on Saturday, November 29, from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The Marion Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26. It will remain closed through Friday, November 28, and reopen on Saturday, November 29.
