Four Iowa companies announced closings on the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN, site in November.
The closings resulted in the loss of 144 jobs.
A fifth company, Insane Impact LLC of Des Moines, also announced during November that it was closing, but that listing proved to be a reporting formality as the company is actually being acquired by Musco Lighting of Oskaloosa.
