A well-known Cedar Rapids Mexican restaurant announced on social media this week that they have shut their doors for good. La Cantina Bar N Grill on Edgewood Road is now closed.
The Announcement
La Cantina’s closure announcement came in the form of a Facebook post on Wednesday, November 3rd. It reads:
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our Edgewood location. The past few years have been challenging for many small businesses in our community, and we’ve faced financial hurdles we could not overcome.”
In the comments of the post, La Cantina let customers know that, unfortunately, the restaurant has already closed, so you won’t be able to visit one last time. There is some good news, though! La Cantina still has one restaurant that will be staying in business. The post says:…
