MARION, Iowa — Marion city crews will begin overnight snow removal in Uptown early Thursday, prompting a temporary parking ban in the area.
Crews are scheduled to start clearing 6th, 7th and 8th avenues, along with nearby areas between 9th and 13th streets, at 2 a.m. Thursday, the city said. Workers will also remove large snow piles that have built up in city-owned parking lots.
