Johnson County board advances workplace ICE protection resolution to official vote

JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Johnson County Board of Supervisors advanced a proposal for an official vote on the Due Process and Workplace Safety Resolution during Wednesday’s work session.

The resolution, pushed by immigrant advocacy group Escucha Mi Voz, would require warrants for ICE or other law enforcement agencies to search non-public areas of county facilities.
