CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – After some warmer temperatures today, tomorrow will be cooler and closer to normal for this time of year.

Tonight, the skies remain clear as temperatures drop to the low to mid teens. Winds will calm to 5 to 15 mph out of the northwest.

The skies stay sunny tomorrow, with temperatures only reaching the upper 20s and low 30s. Clouds will increase tomorrow night, causing temperatures to hardly fall and instead rise through the overnight hours.

By Monday, highs will be in the low 40s.

Temperatures will continue to climb through the holiday week.

By Christmas Day, highs will reach the mid 50s. The skies will stay mostly cloudy through the week, but we will remain dry into next weekend.

There is a chance some may see a rain shower or two, but these will not be widespread nor cause any travel impacts. With the melting snow, there may be some fog throughout the week…
