MT VERNON, Iowa — The Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office and the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Police Department are investigating after a Cornell College student was found deceased in a dorm room Thursday.
In a press release, police said emergency services responded to Cornell’s campus just before 8:15 p.m. Thursday after a campus safety officer reported that a student was “unconscious and not breathing in a dorm room.”
