Man pleads guilty to lesser charges in 2020 Cedar Rapids shooting death

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A man entered a guilty plea of lesser charges in connection to a May 2020 shooting death in Cedar Rapids.

Damontie Haggstrom-Wells, of Fort Madison, pleaded guilty Tuesday to voluntary manslaughter, attempted burglary in the third degree, going armed with intent, and willful injury causing serious injury.
