A Cedar Rapids man was arrested on multiple felony charges Sunday, after a car chase in a stolen vehicle ended in a crash in Louisa County.
Around 1 p.m. on Sunday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a pursuit of a silver Chevy Impala with no plates going speeds in excess of 110 miles per hour on Highway 218.
The vehicle lost control in Louisa County and caught fire. Officials arrested 30-year-old Victor Hughes of Cedar Rapids on the charges of felony eluding, and the serious misdemeanors of operating while intoxicated, driving under suspension, reckless driving, and possession of a controlled substance.
