CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Doctors and public health officials across eastern Iowa say flu activity remains elevated this winter — and they’re especially urging people with underlying health conditions to seek care quickly if symptoms appear.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, flu activity is still elevated nationwide, with at least 15 million flu illnesses reported so far this season. In Iowa, state data shows another week of very high flu activity, while COVID-19 and RSV levels sit at moderate.
