Linn County Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon that injured five. According to the report, deputies, along with Linn County Rescue 57, Robins Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Marion Fire Department, and Area Ambulance were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Hwy 13 and County Home Rd. An initial investigation determined that 80-year old Noreen Tonkin of Marion was traveling north on highway 13 and failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with a vehicle driven by 73-year old Dennis Burrack of Anamosa.
