CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Ronald “Roady” Plein, longtime equipment manager with the Cedar Rapids Kernels, died Saturday at 81 years old.
For 40 years, he sported the No. 11 jersey. His obituary says he fittingly passed at “exactly 11 a.m.”
