CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Cedar Rapids police have released the name of the suspect charged in a chase Thursday on the City’s southwest side.
30-year-old Saivon Sturgeon of Cedar Rapids is now in the Linn County Jail on several charges.
Police say a call came in for a stolen car just after 2:30 p.m. The car was found just before 3 p.m. near the 1400 block of N St SW. Officers tried to pull Sturgeon over, but he took off. The chase ended near the intersection of Williams Blvd and Edgewood Rd SW at about 3:13 p.m. Two squad cars and the stolen one were damaged, but no one was hurt…
