CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) — Two clippers will bring snow and slick streets to eastern Iowa Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be a sharp cutoff from the highest snowfall totals to an inch or less, but it will be slippery regardless.
Winter Weather Advisories have been posted along Highway 20 for the potential of those higher snowfall totals Tuesday evening.

- Snow will move in after 4 p.m. Tuesday near Waterloo and spread across Highway 20
- Snow arrives around Cedar Rapids and Highway 30 after 7 p.m.
- Road become slick immediately with temps in teens/low 20s!
- Pockets of heavy snow possible around Highway 20 (close to Dubuque)
- Snow winds down by 3 a.m. but slick spots may linger into Wednesday morning’s commute
ROUND TWO
- Snow moves in after 1 p.m. Wednesday
- Snow will be most likely north of I-80 and lead to slick streets through the evening drive
