CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Xavier Catholic Schools has named Amanda Allard as the first-ever principal of Xavier Middle School and announced a revised opening plan for the new facility.
Allard currently serves as principal of Regis Middle School and previously held leadership roles at both Regis and LaSalle. She has also taught at Xavier High School and area middle schools.
Because of construction delays, Xavier Middle School will operate under a “Bridge Year” model during the 2026–27 school year. The school will remain unified but operate on two campuses, Regis and LaSalle, for the full year. Full relocation to the new middle school building is now planned for the 2027–28 school year…
