Iowa four-star linebacker Tate Wallace continues to feel the love from Minnesota

2027 Iowa City (Iowa) Regina linebacker Tate Wallace is a four star and one of the top rising juniors in the Midwest and he’s been a fixture on campus at Minnesota. He’s attended multiple games already and also camped with the Gophers over the summer. Linebacker coach Mariano Sori-Marin has seen him twice down in Iowa City already this month, and Wallace walks 247Sports through the visits.

“Coach Collins and Sori-Marin came by this week and talked to me about the culture and what the program has to offer,” Wallace outlined to 247Sports.

“They then got into how I would fit their scheme and defense and how they prepare players fast and maximize their potential, which I liked to hear. They like me as a linebacker and on third downs, go and blitz. They like how I’m versatile. I love that potential role, though. I think that’s where I fit at the college level and I think did a great job at explaining all of it.”…
