IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – University of Iowa’s Bennett Stirtz and Iowa State’s Tamin Lipsey have been named a Bob Cousy Top 10 Point Guard of the Year, the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame announced Monday.

Lipsey is averaging 13.4 points, 5.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game this year, the only player in the country to average those numbers this season. He also ranks third in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 5.25, one of three players in the country at 4.5 or higher.
Last season, Lipsey was a semifinalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award and a finalist for the Nolan Richardson Award.
