A Honduran national has been sentenced to federal prison after authorities say he unlawfully returned to the United States multiple times following deportation.
Oscar Lopez-Martinez, 46, pleaded guilty in November 2025 to a charge of illegal reentry. On Thursday, he was sentenced in federal court in Cedar Rapids to just over one year in prison, followed by a year of supervised release.
