CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Linn County judge sentenced the driver of a car that hit and killed a motorcyclist in 2023 to 16 years in prison.
Debra Trimble took a plea agreement in December – the day before her trial was scheduled to start.
She pled guilty to three charges: homicide by vehicle – reckless driving, a first offense operating while under the influence and serious injury by vehicle.
