CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Emotions ran high Thursday night as families and staff at Wright Elementary voiced concerns over the possible closure of their school.
The Cedar Rapids School Board listening session was one of several held this week as CRCSD considers closing up to four schools. The closures are part of a plan to save more than $10 million ahead of the fall semester.
