Man enters not guilty plea for Cedar Rapids attempted murder case

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A man facing an attempted murder charge in connection to a drive-by shooting at a Cedar Rapids gas station will go to trial after pleading not guilty this week.

Police say 20-year-old Farhan Mohamed shot a 13-year-old male near a Kwik Star on Center Point Road around 4 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
