Iowa receives ‘C’ for school phone policy as districts weigh full bans

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A national nonprofit graded Iowa with a ‘C’ for its school phone policy as districts like the Iowa City Community School District consider a complete ban on phones during the school day.

“Iowa, unfortunately, received a C,” said Lina Nealon, who led the report from the nonprofit, Phone-Free Schools Movement.
