Cedar Rapids man pleads not guilty in 2025 shooting, trial set for June 2026

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man charged in the shooting of a 13-year-old boy last year has pleaded not guilty.

Farhan Kassim Mohamed, 20, entered a written plea of not guilty on Tuesday. His trial is now scheduled to start on June 2, 2026.
