CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A judge sentenced a Cedar Rapids man to 40 years in prison Friday for killing a man in 2023.
Darnell Bays, 30, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and gun charges. The judge gave him the maximum sentence because of his prior crimes.
