CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – We are seeing mostly cloudy skies this morning, and we expect to see this continue throughout the day.
The gradual warm-up will continue through this weekend and into Monday. Highs today will be in the mid 50s.
Winds will stay between 5 and 10 mph out of the southeast.
Cloud cover will turn to partly cloudy skies tonight as lows fall to the low to mid 30s. By late morning tomorrow, most of the clouds will clear, and we will see mostly sunny skies to end the weekend. Highs tomorrow will reach the mid to upper 50s.
Monday will be the warmest day of the week as highs reach the low to mid 60s. Should the forecast hold, some could match or break record maximum temperatures.
