CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A historic mansion in Cedar Rapids has a new life, this time as a plant shop.
Crazy Plant Gal opened Feb. 12 inside the longtime building on Third Avenue SE, which has previously served as a home, funeral home and restaurant.
Owner Kim McGraw, a registered nurse, says the shop started as a stress-relieving hobby that quickly grew into a business. She now sells hundreds of plants, including more than 600 varieties of hoya, along with handmade candles and gifts…
