CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Starting Monday, February 16th, 76th Avenue SW will close to through traffic between Tissel Hollow Road and Cherry valley Road.
Access to homes and properties in the area will remain open.
The closure is expected to last about a week, and will be for a bridge improvement project. New support piers will be added to strengthen the bridge. Once improvements are completed, current weight restrictions will be removed as the bridge will be able to handle all legal loads and most overweight loads…
