Cedar Rapids man facing dozens of charges connected to overnight chase

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man is facing a dozen charges after police say he fled from officers during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

A press release from a Cedar Rapids Police Department spokesperson says officers tried pulling over Donald Fritz, 34, of Cedar Rapids, at 1:22 a.m. on Otis River Road and Sunshine Street Southwest.
