CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The city of Cedar Falls will invoke a snow ordinance from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, to allow crews to haul snow from the downtown and College Hill areas.
The ordinance applies only to the Downtown Parkade and College Hill areas.
Parking restrictions will take effect two hours after the declaration, making them enforceable at 10 p.m. Tuesday. Vehicles parked in designated areas after that time, or those blocking traffic, will be subject to citation and towing at the owner’s expense…
