LINN COUNTY, Iowa — Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks released a new report on Wednesday about the Dec. 31 shooting that resulted in a nonfatal gunshot wound to the face.
Alabama resident Samuel Jermiah Reese III stole a 2024 Dodge Durango SRT from the car’s owner in Cedar Falls at gunpoint using a Glock 19. He also had an AR-15 style rifle in the car.
