LINN COUNTY, Iowa — Alliant Energy is considering an unincorporated area of Linn County for its proposed Morgan Valley Energy Center, a natural gas-fired power plant, according to reporting by The Gazette.
Taylor Adams, a spokesperson for Alliant Energy, told The Gazette in an email that the company has identified a potential site south of U.S. Highway 30 and east of Linn-Benton Road, northwest of Fairfax.
