Good blog from Jordie. This time of year it’s a reminder that just it’s a known fact March will be insane and deliver hilariously insane moments of kids making shots they have no business making, turnovers that will scratch your head or crazy plays on the college level. That’s always going to be a fact. But we also have HS city, sectional, regional and state playoff and championship games going on which also deliver lunacy.
Look no further than a couple years back in NJ.
Just wall to wall basketball with wall to wall lunacy on every level. This Iowa girls game is just as nuts as I have ever seen. Looks like a video game glitch to be honest, just nuts. And as we always remember here “they are just kids” so I’m not here to criticize the turnovers, who here hasn’t made a bad pass or dribbled off their foot under pressure. Rather, it seems as no one is talking about the coach having TWO timeouts in their pocket. Now I know in the moment it may be hard to call one given how fast this whole sequence unfolds, but after the 2nd turnover … call a timeout! My God …the season is slipping away…
