CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Escalating construction costs have led Cedar Rapids’ NewBo City Market to scale back its planned “Next Level Local” expansion, according to the Corridor Business Journal.
“We’ve made major modifications to the project, just doing the fiscally responsible thing and what’s right for the Market,” Joana Karl, chair of the nonprofit market’s board, told the CBJ.
